Main research activities of the research group
The Centre for the study of personality disorders is concerned with the clinical evaluation of patients, their psychopathological characteristics, and the investigation of the effectiveness of medications and psychotherapeutic treatments, in particular individual and group interpersonal psychotherapy and interpersonal counselling for family members. It also studies cognitive functions in personality disorders and brain imaging correlates of treatments.
The Centre for the study of psychopathology is concerned with the investigation of psychopathological core features of major mental disorders, particularly affective and non-affective psychoses, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and personality disorders.
